Farewell CX Route 38-Update
Good morning everyone-Further to my previous post, information regarding the future of route 38 is now confirmed and live on the Metro WYPTE website. The information is summarised as follows.
Saturday 29/09/2018
The final day of connexionsbuses operation over the 38 route, normal services supplemented by heritage buses representing several decades and previous operators of the service.
The route from Gledhow will be via Oakwood Lane, Foundry Lane, Cross Gates Road and Station Road to Whitkirk Skyliner where the heritage bus service will terminate.

Sunday 30/09/2018
Firstgroup buses in operation over route 38 under contract to Metro. This arrangement will continue every Sunday (for the remainder of the existing contract, date of renewal unknown) meaning the 38 route is now confirmed as being reduced to a Sunday only service.
Monday 01/10/2018
A Leeds bus operator, named "Squarepeg" to take control of the former route 38 between the White Rose Centre and Gledhow, renumbered as route 39. Please contact the operator directly for further information and details of the timetable and line of route.
