814 Crew Training
February 7th saw a crew training/refuelling run with the unique low-height Ailsa, TRR814R. The Volvo is pictured here at the "Applegreen" fuelling station, Howden.

After I drove the veteran Volvo to the fuelling point (my first time in an Ailsa!) Driver Mark Conlon returned us safely to the depot, taking to the low height like a duck to water!. Here we see TRR posed on the country lanes, returning to the storage shed after a successful first trip out with Black Prince caretakers!.

Jack Berry was suitably impressed by those old Ailsa sound effects, again many thanks to Keith Billingsley and Richard Huxham for the kind loan of 814.
