UHO3 came to Black Prince during February 1972. The coach was an AEC Reliance chassis carrying a rather nice Harrington Wayfarer 4 C41F body.
The Reliance was purchased from the famed Yorkshire Dales operator Ezra Laycock, who by early 1972 were preparing to sell their business to equally famous Dales operator, Pennine Motor Services, Gargrave.
This coach stayed in the fleet at Black Prince for around one year, moving on in February 1973 to S Hughes (Dealer) and ultimately to the Inverness area.
Would anyone happen to have anymore information on the history of this fine vehicle after life at Black Prince?
An interesting history of Ezra Laycock can be found here...
